Tennis Basics

Welcome to the exciting world of tennis! Whether you're a beginner or just need a refresher, let’s break down the fundamental rules in just a minute!
Tennis is played between two players in singles or two teams in doubles. A match starts with a serve, hit diagonally into the opponent’s service box.
Keep the ball within the court’s boundaries! If it lands outside, it's out.
Scoring works like this: 15, 30, 40, then game! If both players reach 40, it's deuce—win two points in a row to take the game.
Players rally, aiming to win points by hitting shots the opponent can't return.
Master forehands, backhands, and volleys to gain the upper hand!
Win six games with at least a two-game lead to take the set.
Most matches are best of three sets.
That’s tennis in a nutshell! Grab a racket, hit the court, and enjoy the game!
